Medical Conditions
Sciatica
Sciatica is a condition that describes pain travelling down one or both legs. It can be caused by disc herniations in the spine, severe muscle spasms, degenerative arthritis, among other things.
How can it be fixed?
First, the source of the problem needs to be identified. This is done by going through a comprehensive exam with the doctor, following which might require an MRI to locate the exact location of the problem. Treatment is usually very successful, but requires some time. Major components of treatment are decompression followed by rehab to stabilize the area causing the problem. Other therapies may be used such as Laser Therapy to help reduce pain, and stimulate healing.
